John J. Kellerman

	John J. Kellerman, age 81, of Pinckneyville, died Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 10:37 a.m. in the Skilled Care Unit of Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	John was born near Oakdale on October 21, 1921, the son of August and Catherine (Todd) Kellerman.  He married Ruby Smith on September 6, 1952 and she preceded him in death on February 21, 2002.
	During his lifetime he served with the U.S. Army during World War II, was a construction laborer, a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville, Laborer Union #738, V.F.W. Post #3959, Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504 in Pinckneyville and the Knights of Columbus Post #2921, Pinckneyville.
	Survivors include his son, Charles V. Kellerman and his wife, Kim; two grandchildren, Jonathan V. and Hannah Kellerman, all of Pinckneyville; three sisters, Ann Baudison and Rose Kellerman, both of Pinckneyville and Florence Wessels of St. Louis, Mo.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, John Joseph Kellerman Jr.; three brothers, Anton, Eugene and James and a sister, Genieve Ruffino.
	Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 3 at 10 a.m. in St. Bruno Catholic Church with Fr. John Venegoni officiating.  Interment was in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Cemetery, Todd's Mill.  The Presswood-Daffron American Legion Post #2504 conducted graveside military rites.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 to 9:30 a.m.   The Rosary was said at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
	Memorials may be made to the St. Bruno School Endowment Fund.
